Here it is the very first behind the scenes video from the upcoming web series “When the Lights Go Out”, shot and edited by the always brilliant Amanda Diane Theresa Castro-Conroy (you may know her as the woman who did my headshots and most of the other photos you’ve seen on this page. And if you like what you’ve seen from her, maybe you’d also like to head over to Facebook and give her new photography page a like? I know she’d really appreciate it!). I would like to say before you watch that I swear I’m much more intelligent than I seem here and WAYYYY less narcissistic. Really!! Most of what I’m saying is a combination of being super tired and mocking myself, lol. Also when I mention movie bloggers I am talking about YOU, E! *giggles* I should never, ever be allowed to speak on camera unless I’m acting. Like EVER. 😉 Anyway, we all from “When the Lights Go Out” hope you enjoy the sneak peek! The entire web series is now written and we’re just trying to find the time to finish filming.
I also want to add that I’ll also be posting something else tomorrow…and the next day! Omg, I finally had time to watch a movie!!!! Yay!! So weird, it’s like people think this is a movie review site or something… 😉
Anyway, thanks for watching and for repeatedly coming back by my site, you guys’ support is more appreciated than you will ever know!!
I'm a Z movie loving, horror hound, Buffy quoting, Dr. Who watching, geekazoid and seeker of all things unusual. I'm a gypsy wanderer, lover of words, Wendy of the damned and all that jazz. What can I say? I'm complicated.
Hey – did you happen to see my post yesterday?? I don’t normally go plugging my shit – but that made me really happy – and I would love for you to check it out : )
Ahhhh. I don’t know, it may have been around there, we went all over North Jersey for the tour, it was just something my friend organized near Halloween because of his love for Weird NJ.
Clifton is…25 minutes away I think so reasonably close for a tour. I think my friend said the bridge was haunted or rumoured to be haunted. (But then aren’t ALL bridges supposedly haunted? ;)).
I know we drove over it and the road beyond it was really shitty and full of potholes. I think the hype was we were supposed to be attacked by a cult or something. Then I think we went to Clinton Road after that.
This was in one of the parks around here, where you can do all the hiking and all. Can’t remember exactly what she said about it just something about it being haunted. I’m not sure where the shitty road with the cult following/attacking is. Not sure where or what Clinton Road is either. Very few people gave it up on the Jersey folklore when I moved here. Jersey devil and Greystone Hospital are about all I heard about.
I know!! I don’t know why people didn’t tell me stuff. I’ll definitely check out their site (I did briefly when I moved here but then got busy job hunting, etc. and kept forgetting to go back).
AHHHHH!!! I was so tired this day that the Southern emerged. Dammit. 😉 Always nice to put a voice to words though, I always like being able to do that. 🙂
Yeah, I did some sketch work and short films in college too. The big difference here is this time there are actually film editors and post production stuff that’s happening – yay! 🙂
I can’t even wait to give this a watch – but I’ll have to do it tonight when I get home –
do you slander me?????
if so = : (
if not = YAY!!!!!!
Why would I slander you?? I mean, besides the whole “The Sinful Dwarf” thing?? ;-p
THAT’S WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*giggles*

Not yet because of my thing yesterday but will check it tonight! 🙂
SWEET : )
TOTES!!!
Do you have a permit for this??
A permit for what exactly??
Outdoor filming, indoor filming, restaurant filming, makeup, hair, wardrobe, acting, directing, choreography, tripods, bipods, beds, chips, dips, whips, lips, nip slips, and YouTubin’?
Lol, no permits needed for any of that stuff. Well, the restaurant if it was actually going to be IN the web series.
Awesome!!!! Misty in Action.
Thanks! 🙂 I really really do think I sound like Paris Hilton a la the early 00s though. Tragic. 😉
ha ha!!!!!
Is that bridge in the Clifton area? It looks so familiar and I think I was there for a Weird NJ road tour a few years ago.
Ooohh, Weird NJ! I’ve heard of them – seems right up my alley! How was the tour? And close but it’s actually in Rockaway/Boonton area. 🙂

Oh man you have a lot to learn! Check out http://www.weirdnj.com
The magazines come out every May and October. I have two volumes of heir best of books. If you lived within 2 miles I’d let you borrow them!

Lol, and thanks!
unfortunately youtube is banned here so I cant see. Sorry, Misty 😦
No worries, Nafees. 🙂 You don’t have to apologize!
thanks, Misty 🙂 you back now?
As back as I ever am. 🙂
You all seem to work well together. Thanks for the inside view.
Luckily, we’re all friends so we do. 🙂 Thank YOU for stopping by and taking a look!
Oh you are so AWESOME!
Haha if by awesome you mean a spaz, then yes, yes I am. 😉 Thanks btw!
I’ve never pictured you with an accent, weird haha 😀
Looking good 😀
I have an accent? What kind of accent? Was it Southern? Cause that only comes out when I’m really tired, lol.
And thanks, Tim! 🙂
A little southern, but now I can put a voice to your written words haha 😀
AHHHHH!!! I was so tired this day that the Southern emerged. Dammit. 😉 Always nice to put a voice to words though, I always like being able to do that. 🙂
Reminds me of college. We did a lot of movies like this – short, but fun.
