So You Know…

So you know those times in  your life where you’re incredibly, madly, too good to be true happy – not because everything’s perfect because nothing is ever entirely perfect (and thank goodness, because what would be the fun in that, right?) – but because there’s so much good that you can totally handle the bad that comes along?  Yeah, that’s totally where I’m at right now and I gotta say it’s pretty fabulous.  🙂

I got up at 5:45 yesterday to spend six hours shooting the second web series I’m involved in, “The Point”, and it was a great time.  Not only did I get to do the acting thing but I got in some good networking too.  It was a pretty amazing day.  🙂

There’s also a third web series in the works now that a friend is writing that involves quantum physics and time dimension jumping (timey- wimey and all ;)).  And I’ve been asked to write a play- a mash up of fairy tales that explores the underlying themes of feminism and sexuality and all that good fun stuff – for a local theatre company.  Not to mention of course my 7 jobs and my 800 million other projects that create a lack of sleep and eating and all.  😉

And of course, this place, which I really love.  I don’t know what’s going to happen here in the upcoming months – I don’t know what my posting schedule will be like but I’ll be posting as much as I can and reading as much as I can so hopefully you all will stick around through the ups and downs and my, what may seem to some, complete flakiness.  😉  And I know I talk entirely too much about my life and you’re all sitting there going, “For the love of god, woman!  This is supposed to be a movie review site – shut up about the non-movie stuffs now!!” and I realize I am the worst movie blogger ever at times but I really appreciate you guys comments and emails and all.  Like, totes, y’all.  This is my 145th post and so far this whole blogging thing has been a helluva ride and things have worked out in ways I never imagined.  Life is major wicked cool and mysterious at times.  🙂

So what am I trying to say here in my rambly way?  Mostly that it’s Monday and I’m a little “stoned” from some pain pills I had to take this morning (totally legit, just fyi, promise!) and I’m really happy about where life has taken me and where it’s headed and I think you guys are all kickawesome and the bomb-diggity and I appreciate y’all putting up with my incredibly bad blogging ways.   And yes, I realize I tell you all too often that you are awesome but I fully believe in telling people they’re great and how important they are to me all the time.  I’m a weirdo I know.

K, off to do some more work and watch a few movies and read a million blogs.  ❤

  1. You are SUCH an amazing woman! You are one of the most beautiful of the beautiful, inside and out, that I’ve ever known. Your beauty is ethereal and rare, and your mind is even more so. WE think YOU are pretty stinkin’ awesome, and I am not sure what all of us would do without you!!

    • Awww, Amanda Carter Williams, you just made me a little teary! I love you girl and I am SO incredibly happy you’ve been a part of my life for the past 14 years. You are so strong and amazing and all together wonderful person and I am incredibly lucky to know you. ❤

  2. CONGRATS on everything that is good in your life. I hope it wont interfere with our Black Swan & Face Offs, otherwise me and you may fall out 😉

    • Oh dear lord, I completely forgot about Black Swan. *facepalm* If I don’t have that to you in the next month, please feel free to hunt me down and kick me repeatedly in the shins. ;-p And let me know when the next Face Off is happening!

      Also thanks, Tyty!

      • What I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you get me Black Swan now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you. 🙂

        Peace 😛

      • *runs to her computer to type frantically* I’m writing, I’m writing, Tyty!! ;-p

  9. It’s awesome that you’re in that great space. You should probably cut back your projects to number around 780 million, though.

Excited to see what else happens for you in the near future!
